Remarks
The admission process is so easy. NTA conducts entrance exams every year. On average, about 1 lakh student appears for the exam. ICAR also conducts a separate exam in which you have to get the best rank to get a seat in BHU. Institute of Agricultural sciences BHU provides two types of seats based on your rank, one is the regular seat and another one is paid seat in which you have to pay an extra fee.
Course Curriculum Overview
Here the faculty member is so good and well-educated. The faculty members are very cooperative. The course is a bit tough as you have to give 80+ papers in 4 years. The faculty members of BHU are attached to some research works so it gives the best opportunity for students. The student-to-faculty ratio is very good for every 2 students there is 1 faculty. There are total of 11 departments in Agriculture.
Internships Opportunities
The internship depends upon students' interests. The college itself provides internships which are unpaid. You can go for an internship or training in ICAR-affiliated research centers. There is no such paid internship present in the institute.
Placement Experience
The placement of the college is good. In the 7th or 8th-semester companies arrives. The highest package goes up to 8 lakhs and the average lies between 5-6 lakh. However, there is 90% placement but the package is not so good. Most of the students go for higher study.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the course is very minimal. If you get a regular seat you have to pay 160 in the even semester and 1916 in the odd semester. For the paid seat, you have to pay an extra 20000 per semester. For financially weaker students, BHU provides scholarships to them. If we talk about campus placement then it is not so good. The average package goes up to 5lakh only.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is so good and polite surrounded by Greenery. The campus is very clean. In every 2nd lane, you will get an open gym. In every department, there is a ground with basketball and volleyball, handball, and lawn tennis courts. BHU organizes Spardha as an annual sports event and the institute of Agricultural sciences organizes shristi as a cultural fest.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is so good and the environment of the hostel is study orientated. A total of 480 students can accommodate in one hostel. For every 2 students, there is 1 room. The hostel fee is very minimal about 3000 a year. If you get the best rank then only you can get a hostel in BHU. The hostel infrastructure is very old and it needs some renovations.
