Entrance Preview

The admission in any of Delhi university clg is on merit basis. I got 79% and I opt for this as it is very near by my place

Course Curriculum Overview

5

My course was Bsc mathematics with a subject called operational research which is very rare in India as well as in demands, so yes I think this course is good enough with a focus on research One can do Msc in operational research and go into the field of research.

Internships Opportunities

No they don't provide internship for our course and if they are not providing any internship then they don't have to pay anything to anybody

Placement Experience

5

They provide Very good and awesome placement opportunity for the students to get settled in.

College Events

5

Events are awesome and best in India Delhi university is famous for its events as they are being celebrated in grand level hence they are Very good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees in any of the d.u college is very low . Like I have to pay around 5000 annually which is Very good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they provide scholarships to those students whose annual income is less then 1.5 lakh.

Campus Life

5

campus was good.

Hostel Facilities

5

The food is tasty and Very good and hostel is new but for girls only and it is Good too.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors were very helpful. They provide us notes and refers us into their companies for internship and jobs and all.

Exam Structure

The college make things very easy for us like exams are being conducted in our college only and their is nothing like centres are being allocated in, so I think in this case my college was very good.

Admission

As I mentioned that the admission in any of the Delhi university college is based on your merit. So you need to fill the form. And provide your details to them and after that first cut off will come and if you lie in that cut off in any college then u need to go there for counselling and further formalities

Faculty

5

They are highly qualified All of them are PhDs in their subject and cleared the net and JRf. which is junior research fellowship. As it is govt recognised college so one need to have minimum eligibility in order to be there.

Acharya Narendra Dev College - [ANDC], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Life Sciences)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.
