Remarks

Admission to VIT is based on an exam called VITEE. Based on your rank you can apply for the course during counseling. There is no reservation in the admission process. However, VIT provides free admission by Tamil government 12th-class toppers.

Course Curriculum Overview

The EEE course in VIT Vellore is really good. Both theoretical and practical knowledge is given. The teachers are friendly. Most of them are experts in their field. The class strength is around 65 students. Exams are moderate.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is compulsory in VIT. Based on on your knowledge companies provide you with roles. Tech giants like Microsoft, Google, etc. provide internships. Internship opportunities are really good in VIT. Most of the internships are converted into PPOs.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placement. More than 850 companies visit VIT. Most of them are tech-oriented. The core is very less. For use average package is around 10 lakh. PSU also visits for core placement. For CSE, IT, ECE, and EEE placemats are 100 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are a little bit high because it is a private college. You can avail of various central government scholarships. VIT also provide scholarship based on your performance in the semester-end exam. Hostel and mess fees are satisfactory.

Campus Life

The campus is huge. Nearly 250 acres. Vit has one of the best infrastructures. Every department has its school. It has a world-class library. So many books are available in the library. There is every type of sports ground here. State-level competitions are conducted on VIT. There are so many clubs and chapters in it. More than 100 clubs and chapters. Students can join any club.

Hostel Facilities

Every type of room is available here. Ac, non-ac, apartment type, 1,2,3,4,6,8 bedded rooms available. One can take any room based on his cgpa. Mess food is also good. If you don't like food in a particular mess you change the mess. Hostel fees are based on the type of room you take.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
