Remarks

Eligibility of the course is more than 70% in PCM in the 12th class. and if you have good marks in jee you will get a scholarship to Galgotias university. for application go to Galgotias university website where you will get the application form. when you will fill out the application form you have to pay 1000 rupees for the application process. after that, you have to visit the university for further admission process. no improvements are needed. very good university for graduation and any course. placements are very good at this university. The teachers are also very nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a programmer that's why I choose btech Cse at Galgotias university. Galgotias university has the best faculty. teachers clear each and every single doubt of students and make them comfortable in class. after class, if you have any doubts you will get a doubt class for every subject. teachers explain everything very clearly and loudly. every teacher of galgotias university has done PhDs from IITs.

Internships Opportunities

Currently, I am in first semester so I have no idea of placements. but as 2nd-year students told me that many companies offer internships at Galgotias university. many students get internships at Microsoft and google like companies.

Placement Experience

from sixth-semester university students are eligible for campus placements. placement rate is average in this university. Microsoft, amazon, Wipro, etc companies visit universities for the placement process. more than 50 different companies visit universities for placement. average package is 5lack which is offered at galgotias university. the highest package is 25lack in galgotias university. 60 to 70 per cent of students placed from galgotias university. after getting my degree I want to work in high-paying compenies as a programmer.

Fees and Financial Aid

for btech cse i paid Rs160000 per year. if u got good marks in jee you get a scholarship. poor students get scholarships from up government. if you are a good student then you will get an internship in good companies.

Campus Life

Prarambh is an annual fest at Galgotias university organised near Diwali. every books and journal are available in the library. ac fans are available in classrooms. wifi is also available at the university. smart classes are also available. sports tournaments are held at the university. currently, there was a cricket tournament at gGalgotias university. there are more than 30 clubs available for students. Galgotias university's Instagram provides information about future updates.

Interview Experience

there is no groop discussion and interview test at Galgotias university for admission. you will get direct admission in galgotias university if you got 70percentage in 12th class. and if you have good marks in jee then you will have to pay less fees then other students.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Lab infrastructure and availability and practical approach
Hygience managed in every block and department
Availability of faculty and easy to approach and contact

Poor management regarding any issue and problem
iCloud app not working properly and full of glitches and bugs
Slow process and management takes a lot of time to do work

Placement Experience:

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

My Engineering College

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning.
