Remarks

You must have scored at least 50 percent of marks in higher secondary to get a seat here. You can avail the first-graduate scholarship. You can apply through TNEA counselling or by management quota. I applied through tnea counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

My dream from my childhood was to secure a good position in a tech-based mnc company and so I chose this course. The teachers are well qualified, friendly and helpful. There are three internal exams per semester that are easy to get passed.

Internships Opportunities

Students are asked to search for internship opportunities right from the second semester. They ask us to find them using the Internshala app. Several students have got internships and have received stipends. The department allows for on-site internships only during 4th year.

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for placements from the sixth semester. Several techs and core companies like Accenture, TCS, CTS, and tech Mahendra visit here for campus placements. The average package is 3 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 12 lakhs per annum. Around 80 percent of students get placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The normal fee for this computer science course is 95 thousand per year. Since I avail 7.5 per cent government scholarship, my fee is 50 thousand per year. You can also apply for the first graduate scholarship to get a reduction of 25 thousand per year.

Campus Life

The even semesters are filled with lots of events and fests. Mostly during the month of February to April inter college events happen here. There is a library with a good collection of books. Sports are given extra importance here.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.
