Remarks

there weren't any eligibility criteria for the course just the criteria was you must be 12th pass I found this application form through my friend and the application fee was 1500 rs application date was 15 September 2021 nil. the admission process requires a lot of improvement and there should be an entrance interview for the college

Course Curriculum Overview

I love everything about software engineering as I am obsessed with diff computer languages I have a particular interest in web development and ethical hacking faculty to student ratio is about 1:60 there are teachers of PhD level graduation and some are well experienced the exams are very regular which makes it hard to co-op up with it gradually becomes a little bit of difficult

Placement Experience

6th to 7th sem i.e third-year students are eligible for campus placements there are around 100 companies visit every year and offers are made in the field of software web development highest is around 20 LPA and the average is around 5 LPA 70% my plans are to do a job at some company and then gain experience in order to get into google or Microsoft via open placements

For the fee hike policy, there is a 10k spike for every sem it is well affordable for a common man there are regular internship opportunities in chitkara and the stipend, it varies from company to company it can go as high as 50k

there are regular tech fests and the annual fest, it is irregular for the month it is around December it is when they conduct most of the fests there is no problem with the availability of books and journals in the library in classrooms there is stability there are multiple sports available at chitkara clubs include innovative clubs and dance yoga clubs

rooms are well furnished for the facility provided there are attached washrooms and three seater single bedroom type meal quality is very poor and needs a lot of attention from the authorities the registration process is really easy to form process and affordability is decently fine

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
