Course Curriculum Overview

VIT follows a fully flexible credit system that allows students to select their faculty from the University for their subject. The curriculum was also well defined in the beginning and the student ratio maintained max 60 students in one class.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Almost all the students will be placed during the 7th semester itself. The internship will also be provided by the same company with good pay. As VIT is the one of top most University in India internship and placement opportunities are huge both inside the campus as well outside.

Fees and Financial Aid

Based on the entrance examination rank and fee structure have been defined and a scholarship will be provided. If you have studied in a rural government school and scored district first rank you be admitted to a free education scheme called STARS.

Campus Life

Campus Life is so engaged full and so many clubs will be available to improve your extracurricular skills. India's biggest library is located on the campus. Riviera and Gravitas will be conducted as a cultural and educational event every year in Feb and Sep respectively.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is so much enjoyable and so many options will be there to choose from in terms of 6 beds, 4 beds, 3, 2, 1 with A/c and without A/C. More than 15 hostel buildings are available for gents and 10 hostel building girls. Based on their CGPA counseling will happen to choose the room in their respective building.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

As I have studied in a rural government school and scored 1st in the Tamilnadu district of Thiruvarur, VIT Connected me through my school and offered free education including a Hostel facility. Counselling took place and I selected the desired department as per my mark

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
