Course Curriculum Overview
The university follows a theory-to-practice method for architecture. We will be trained in various concepts of architecture through college projects. CMRU follows a design thinking approach to modern problem-solving scenarios. Our faculty team is well-experienced and provided us with enough exposure to learn better.
Fees and Financial Aid
The university offers scholarships based on merit, sports, and other criteria. I had scored good marks in my 12th, so I got a Merit-Based scholarship. The fee levied was on the higher side, but the amenities provided made it worth the money spent.
Campus Life
The campus is designed beautifully, with a lot of green spaces. They have all the recent infrastructural facilities, including a material lab, a student exhibition space, and a technologically advanced computer lab.
Admission
I did my B.Arch from CMR University at Baglur campus. The admission procedure was simple. During the fee payment, the administration officers were kind enough to give us a tour of the campus. I cleared the NATA test (the usual test for architecture). There is no additional entrance exam for CMRU for architecture.
Interview Experience
The interview was brief. They asked me why I chose architecture and what my aim was in life. I explained what I intended to do after B.Arch. The university is taking students by understanding their mindset before taking admission to provide training accordingly.
