Course Curriculum Overview
As it is a prestigious institute and faculty members are very good in their respective fields and other fields also. All faculty members are student-friendly and supportive. In general, all faculty members are doctorates (Ph.D.).
Internships Opportunities
Many Multinational companies offer internship program for third students and paid internship is also available i.e Tata consultancy services, Mahindra, Petrochemical industries, etc. Projects in the internship are Design, Development, etc.
Placement Experience
5th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Most multinational companies visit for campus placements i.e. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, TCS, Mahendra, etc. Percentage of placement from various branches, such as 95.2% in CSE,88.8% in CHE,94.8% in ECE, etc. I want a take good placement after completing this degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for one semester is Rs.62500. All students can apply for various scholarships available for their benefit. But if a student is sc or St or the income of his family is below Rs 1 lakh then the whole tuition will be waived for him or her. And students with less than 2.5 lakh family income will get 2/3rd of the fees will be waived.
Campus Life
There are so many annual fests organized by various clubs and the institute also ie nityamini, Aaron, Aavishkar, food fest, etc. There is a vast library with a huge no of books 1.7 lakh books on the campus available for all. The classrooms are well furnished. Extracurricular activities are the main attraction for the campus. Clubs are various ie recursion, Sai, debsoc, EDC, and literary circle.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are very good is room consist of highly furnished three almirahs and three cupboards, two fans, three study lamp, three tables and chair, three bed, three plug point, and two LED tube light. The meal quality is excellent. Meals for both veg and non veg are available of high quality. A hostel can be allotted by the institute. All can afford it at a less price of Rs 140 per day. Being a student of NIT Durgapur, you must have to stay in a hostel allotted by the institute.
Admission
After qualifying for JEE Main I had apply for counseling on JOSAA. To get admitted to this institute all have to appear in jee main and also have to qualify for the exam, cut off is not fixed, it depends upon the number of applicants but in general, for the general category, it is 88.8 percentile and to get admitted to this college the cut-off percentile is 90+.
