Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I want to give UPSC CSE and I will take political science as my optional, so It would be very easy for me then. The curriculum and syllabus for this course are very interesting and I love to study political science. Term exams are held twice a year. The exams are quite easy to pass.

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It is my second year going on, so I don't know about the college placement. There was a fee hike for the course and students of the college protested against it for many days eventually, the college withdrew its policy and cut the fee.

Campus Life

We have the largest auditorium on the Delhi university campus. We enjoy a lot of events in the college. The college does organise a lot of sports events as well. Our library has a lot of books to study from. Both English and Hindi medium books are available.

Admission

There was no Eligibility for the course. All the details about the application form, application fees and application were available on the DU site. The admission process was very easy and didn't face any difficulty in the admission

according to all the reviews i have read the placement ranges from 4-5 lcs per anumm to 24 lcs per anumm which is quite decent i think the students can become eligible for placements in 2nd year of college some companies that have visited the college : delloitte KPMG HDFC bank bajaj finance amazon genpact tata consulting services in 2024 around 300+ people were reported as placed highest packedge in 2024 - 12lkh per aummn

My overall experience in delhi university

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me, bachelor of Arts is a waste program, it doesn't prepare you for anything except government exams. It doesn't prepare you for real world applications unless you have other in demand skills. I think there's a lot of need to change the syllabus of bachelor of Arts and teachers should be supportive and qualified. In every 6 months there's semester exams and mostly they're quite difficult.

DU life is better than any other college life

Campus placement depends on merit and interview. But I have less information because my course placement is not available After graduation, I am preparing for UPSC CSE from dikshant coaching and also getting admission in MA history from Ignou.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements depend on the course you have selected. Currently, I am studying in college, and I plan to do a master's after the degree. The average package is 5 lac per annum and it's good in my opinion.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose a bachelor of arts because I was interested in political science and economics and wanted to prepare for competitive exams because this subject helps a lot our bachelor of art class had 150 students, faculty was very good.

Remarks:

Positive- Faculty is one of the best in among all colleges of Delhi University. It has the biggest infrastructure in Delhi university. Located in central Delhi which makes it easily accessible to reach Central park, red fort, and many more places in New Delhi. Negative- Annual fest is very poor in our college. Placements are not very good. Lack of sports facilities. Very strict rules and discipline.
