I choose this course because of my keen interest in technology. In my college there is a good student-to-teacher ration which is 20:1 . Almost all the faculties are M.Tech holders and many of them even hold Ph.D. Exams are held every 1-2 months.

Fees and Financial Aid

Being a government college it does not have any fee hike policy unlike the private colleges which makes this college very affordable for middle class students. There's a TFW scholarship which stand for Tution fee waiver about which you can get detail info. from the college website .

Campus Life

Our college conducts Cultural Fest, Tech Fest & Sports fest every year. Talking about books our central library is filled with all the books related to our course. There are several clubs & societies as well.

Hostel Facilities

We have large rooms over here which have a capacity of 3 students each having a socket individually. Washrooms are also cleaned every 3-4 days. Mess food is OK to good depending upon the meal. We have a timetable in mess for the whole week.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

You must qualify for JEE Mains for admission into CSE of GBPIET. You can find the application form on the official website of NTA. I didn't avail myself of any type of reservation benefit. No improvement is required in the admission process.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. JEE mains provide the gate pass to enter into this college. We should have a great score in this exam to retain our place in this college. The only entrance is through JEE mains no more way. Instead to moving to other college I choose this because my brother did studied there a year before.

Remarks:

Some faculty are there to taunt students not to study. They only know how to push down and demoralize anyone. One thing I didnt unferstand why faculty play politics in college rather than teaching students.

-i have no choice to choose other college because my jee rank was not so good and in private college there fee structure is very high so I have to choose this college over other colleges. -yes i am rejected by many college because my jee rank was too low to get there admission. - you have to clear jee mains exam to get admission in my college. I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
