Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I like Hindi to study and the faculty is also good almost 30 students attend one class and classes are also regular. Teaching methods are also fine and exams are also timely held with more than 85 percent of students passing.

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are hiked from last year now it is 15000 but it's fine and in my budget. I live in Delhi only so my cost of the study is nominal. Scholarships are given to students based on merit and I am not eligible for the internship.

Campus Life

Annual freshers and farewells are held in January and march and it's good. The library is also nice with all the syllabus-related books. Classrooms have the basic infrastructure for study and sports and extracurriculars like dance, music, debate is also available. cdf Enactus, etc. are the societies available to join.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is 10+2 and any stream can opt for this course. It was through CUET. The application form is available on csas portal and the fee for it was 250 approx. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits and improvement is required as it was time taking process.

Students are eligible for placements in 3rd year as per the required eligibility of different placements units. Now there are some of the placement cells goig on inside the college. The placement cell is also active. The average placement of the college is 5 lakhs .

according to all the reviews i have read the placement ranges from 4-5 lcs per anumm to 24 lcs per anumm which is quite decent i think the students can become eligible for placements in 2nd year of college some companies that have visited the college : delloitte KPMG HDFC bank bajaj finance amazon genpact tata consulting services in 2024 around 300+ people were reported as placed highest packedge in 2024 - 12lkh per aummn

A balance mix of academics, activities and affordability

My overall experience in delhi university

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me, bachelor of Arts is a waste program, it doesn't prepare you for anything except government exams. It doesn't prepare you for real world applications unless you have other in demand skills. I think there's a lot of need to change the syllabus of bachelor of Arts and teachers should be supportive and qualified. In every 6 months there's semester exams and mostly they're quite difficult.

DU life is better than any other college life

Campus placement depends on merit and interview. But I have less information because my course placement is not available After graduation, I am preparing for UPSC CSE from dikshant coaching and also getting admission in MA history from Ignou.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements depend on the course you have selected. Currently, I am studying in college, and I plan to do a master's after the degree. The average package is 5 lac per annum and it's good in my opinion.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose a bachelor of arts because I was interested in political science and economics and wanted to prepare for competitive exams because this subject helps a lot our bachelor of art class had 150 students, faculty was very good.

Remarks:

Positive- Faculty is one of the best in among all colleges of Delhi University. It has the biggest infrastructure in Delhi university. Located in central Delhi which makes it easily accessible to reach Central park, red fort, and many more places in New Delhi. Negative- Annual fest is very poor in our college. Placements are not very good. Lack of sports facilities. Very strict rules and discipline.
