One of the best institution in Bengaluru

I was very much interested in the course as even my father is a mechanical engineer so I was very much passionate about the course. The faculty-student ratio is very good and there is plenty of highly qualified teaching faculty available on the campus during college hours. The faculties are very well qualified and the teaching method is also pretty well. Except for one or two faculties, the rest are very good. The exams are pretty easy and can score good marks with 1 week of preparation ( internals) for the semester-end examination you might need to prepare for 2-3 weeks to score well.

The fee structure is not at all heavy for the students taking admission through KCET. It is indeed heavy If the student takes admission through comedk or management seat. There are many scholarships and financial assistance provided to the students in need by the college authorities as well as the alumni association of the college. College also provides mid-day meals and/or bus passes to the students in need of it.

Campus Life is not that great I must admit that. We've been told that there'll be an annual feast called Udbhav but then we aren't lucky enough to witness it till now due to the COVID pandemic. The libraries are huge and consist of every book which an engineering student needs apart from many extra books to increase his/ her knowledge to a great extent. The libraries are really great if you make use of it wisely. Even though the college doesn't have a very big sports ground which we expect from an engineering college but then it does support sports to a large extent and it does have a college team. There are many many social groups and clubs of all sorts technical non-technical hobby oriented and a lot more.

I must admit the hostel and the food we get is great for the amount we pay. Although the food is not that great but then it does cater for our hunger and does the job. The hostels are pretty good. We have laundry which can be availed anytime in the day. We do get hot water for bathing in the morning. We do have generators for power backup so it ensures the electricity supply 24*7. The hostel is pretty affordable and as It's inside the campus it's very easy to reach the college on time and saves our time and energy to a great extent. So I would definitely prefer staying in a hostel and also it's very much affordable and pocket friendly compared to other PGs in the locality.

I actually got into college through KCET which is the karnataka state entrance examination. And my rank was somewhere near 20k. I've availed the ST reservation benefits. And I don't actually want to see any major improvements in the admission process
