Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is in good ratio with number of students. PHD proffesors teach us at college. Teaching is in specific format given by the college and the proffesors are very friendly. Exams and attendance criteria is very strict in the college. We are given extra marks if we have attendance over 80%. Class tests and exams are very regularly conducted.

Internships Opportunities

All most every big company comes in college for placements and all types of roles are offered. Interships at Google and Flipkart are really common. Full time offers after that are generally offered Goldman Sachs tata Sony and many other companies come and minimum 11 students are placed at every company Placement and training cell is very active

Placement Experience

Placements are provided seriously by second year but now first years are also provided placement opportunities. More than 600 companies arrive at college for offers Google Microsoft Amazon Flipkart tata Mahindra maruti and too many big names. 70% students are placed also enterpreneurship is encouraged.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is high but might be good for college undertakings . Placement and internships are very seriously taken. Academics are handled in proper manner by the college. The curriculum is set to make students excellent at various tasks and eligible for various opportunities provided.

Campus Life

Annual fest is MOKSHA and resonance is also conducted. Moksha is conducted in March and resonance is conducted in October. Books are available and accessible. All most all types of books are provided. Annual sports are very enthusiastic all conducted. Various sports are funded by the college and college teams are made. College participates in all the sports events conducted in nation. Too many clubs are in the college. Music club , dramatics, robotics, two dance clubs that is Hip hop and choreography, literature and too many technical clubs.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel has good in and out timings for even girls with guards always every where. Laundry and washing machines are in the hostel. Plumbers and all kinds of problems faced are helped fast with in a day. Meal is good with menu being followed seriously. Breakfast lunch evening snacks like burgers pasta noodles and then lunch Hostel is given on the preference for people who are farthest. Easily available documents are asked for registration. The locality where the college is based is high and posh sector that is dwarka so the pg and room rentals will be high cost.

Hostel Fee: INR 95000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of course is with JEE marks. I applied at josaa counseling to get into the college. Reservation for girls is good in the college. Also reservation for Delhi candidates is 80+ percent. Delhi reservation is not good for outside candidates

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Likes

College has many club and societies where you can get chance to participate.
College has good amenities for BTech students.
Faculty and college managements are supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

Location is bit away from metro station.
College should provide more free shuttle bus service from metro station.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Things I like is 1st the cafeteria food 😂🫶🏻 it is good.../tasty
and in classroom thier were 2 AC in a room and 5-8 fans..
they have sensors lights on building and lift.. well maintained library

Placement Experience:

I don't know about the placements.. because in this college it is 1st batch of b.tech they just started to offer b.tech.. my plans after getting degree to take a job then do that.. or before that if I get internship I will do that for experience

Likes

Supportive faculties in study wise and real growth support if you need it.
Labs and Syllabus are latest and up to date, so really not a problem on that. And if you do need components for yourself you can ask the college and get it easily

Dislikes

College on it's own doesn't do any Cultural events or Freshers, there's a lot of process and Headaches to get it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor. 1. I applied to only 2 colleges DTU and NSUT. But I didn't choose dtu because of traveling issues, as it was 2 hours away from my house and nsut was just 15 mins away. 2.
