Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because i was always interested to take part in this course. In each class, there are 72 students and for every subject, there are different faculty. The qualification of most of the faculty here is a PhD and their teaching method is also average. There are two exams mid-term and end-term and it is not that difficult to pass the exam if you pay a little attention to the class.
Internships Opportunities
There are career development and career profiling departments in the university actively working for career assistance by contacting whom you can easily avail internships. Many companies like Amazon, Microsoft, oracle etc come here to give internships.
Placement Experience
From the third year itself, students become eligible for placement and from the second year, you can avail internship as well. Many companies like amazon, google, Accenture, bosch, Capgemini etc come here with good offers. The highest package here is 3 crore and the average package offered is 6.5 lakhs. the percentage of students getting placements is about 70 to 80 per cent. My plan after getting my degree is to do a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The actual tuition fee is 1 lakh 20 thousand and if your score in 12th or jee is more than 95 per cent then you will get 38 per cent of the scholarship or is you score more than 330 marks in lpunest exam. for financial assistance, you can talk to the officials or otherwise, they will block your attendance.
Campus Life
Many annual fests and tech fests keep going on on campus for the students. The campus life is very good because of the well-maintained infrastructure and facilities. There is a huge library and books are mostly always available and you can borrow books from the library any time you want. The college also pays a lot of attention to the sports and extracurricular activities of the students. There are many social groups and clubs run by students like GSDC and newtons school of coding etc. the amenities in the classrooms is that they are well equipped with air conditioners and projectors.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities provided are you can choose between ac or non-ac rooms and in one ac room you will get a cooler. The meal quality of the hostel mess is average and you can also file a complaint for a change in the menu if you don't like the food. According to me, the hostel facility is a little costlier than living outside as I have to pay 85000 for a 3 seater non-ac room. You can rent a room or pg either in law gate or Phagwara.
Admission
There are many ways to the application first you can get admission on the basis of your 12th marks or you can give the lpunest exam on the basis of your jee mains exam. There are no reservation criteria as per my knowledge. The application fee is 500 for girls and 1000 for boys. you can fill out the application form from the online website of lpu admissions.
