What Students Say

Likes

Night life of nit Raipur is good and it's allumuni network.

Dislikes

Campus size is very small and many places are empty.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I heard that the information technology branch is doing better than the computer science branch also the faculties are very good and experienced. Here faculty versus student ratio is not very good.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Generally, an Internship is offered in the fifth or sixth semester. The coding culture is very good at nit Raipur that's why many internships are in the IT sector. Some get preplacement during the internship. Companies offer good returns to the intern.

Placement Experience

4.5

Generally, students from the seventh semester start sitting for placements. There are many companies that come to college and hire them. The average package of nit Raipur goes between 9.5 lpa to 11 lpa. The best-performing branch in terms of percentage is mining and the best average package by IT.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't receive any kind of scholarship here because my annual income is above 5lakh but there are a lot of options to apply for a scholarship like students who belong to the sc/St category there education fees zero and above 1lakh income 2/3 tuition fees are reduced

Campus Life

There are many social groups in college like sahyog, click club, go green, technocracy, Sanskriti, entrepreneur cell, finance and consulting club, robotics club and many more. Talking about books resources the library is not very good but books are enough for students to study.

Hostel Facilities

I live in the hostel but some of my friends live in a pg or rented rooms. The best places to live are kota or sarswati nagar and ddu nagar also many students live in flats. There also a good interaction happens between students.

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

The admission process is a Little hectic and long process. It should be short and the institute should provide basic facilities to students like photocopy machines and all. After all, it's a very good and easy process.
