Likes

I liked the environment of the campus. It is full of trees.
I like the cyber library of the main campus.
I like the mess in the hostels. They provide excellent food at low cost

Dislikes

I disliked some unruly behaviour of the students.
There is no official student body to represent students.
The administration is quite lethargic and works dont get done properly

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in the course. The economics department of BHU has some good professors. There are more than 150 students in my class. 2 professors are assigned to our class. They are very qualified. But sometimes they act lazily. They are not so eager to teach. The course duration is 3year and the exam is a semester-wise pattern.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of companies that come here through Internshala you can get internships from various companies. The English department is also active in providing internships. There is a placement cell that looks after these things.

Placement Experience

My College is provided good placement assistance. And a number of the company come to my college. In 6th semester students are eligible for placement. Company Visited TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite affordable. It's about 6000 for the whole three years course. There are various scholarship programs for students. They can also work on campus through the earn while learn scheme. They get to do work on campus.

Campus Life

Life can be very vibrant if you are interested. There are many clubs and societies functioning in the BHU. Rangshala the drama club is quite good. Prometheans are the quiz club and many more clubs. A lot of sports activities take place here, especially cricket.

Admission

The admission process was very smooth at my college. Eligibility: Candidates who are to appear for the entrance should have passed class 12th with more than 50% marks. The exam is conducted through CUET according to new guidelines by the UGC. The question paper consists of a general test paper. The subjects asked to include mental ability tests, maths, English, and social science. Reservation is provided to SC, ST, and obc categories.

Great learning environment, experienced faculty, and value for money education.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive, highly experienced, and always ready to help students with their queries.
The course fee is extremely affordable and provides great value for money for students in this region.
The campus has a peaceful learning environment with a good gender ratio of around 1:1 for boys and girls.

Dislikes

On-campus placement opportunities are limited, and students mostly need to look for off-campus jobs.
Campus infrastructure needs modernization, including better Wi-Fi access and updated lab equipment.
More practical exposure and industry-oriented training programs should be added to the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

A great place to learn journalism and media

Our curriculum is Industry oriented which includes academic as well as practical learning.
Our college conducted regular workshops, seminars and guest lectures by media professionals.
Experienced and supportive faculty members. All teachers are approachable and provide personal guidance.

A Balanced Review of My College Journey

Likes

The college regularly organizes seminars, cultural events, and technical activities, helping students improve their confidence and skills.
The library, computer labs, and classrooms are well-maintained, providing a good environment for learning.
The teachers are experienced and explain concepts clearly. They are approachable and supportive whenever students need guidance.

Dislikes

Some practical sessions need better equipment and more hands-on training to match industry needs.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our College are decent. Students become eligible from the 5th/6th semester, and companies from media, PR, and digital marketing fields visit for recruitment. The placement cell also provides training, internships, and guidance. After graduation, I plan to explore both campus and off-campus opportunities in media and communication fields.

Canteen food the only thing I don't like about my college

They give us lots of opportunities before summer vacations in terms of internship and after the final semester of exams they take our interview and give exact amount of opportunities and don't disappoint us

Likes

The faculty of the college is very supportive and understanding
The campus is also very nice you can easily find your comfort in that campus
Classrooms have unique facilities with smart board in every class and every class room is air conditioned

Dislikes

The first thing I don't like is the college food from canteen because it doesn't not have many options
The second thing I don't like is the sports facilities in the college because there are not every sports available specially football is not available
The third i don't like when the mobile network doesn't come in the college and we face a lot of problems for this

Placement Experience:

Let me talk about the placement of this college the placements and internship facilities of this college are very good for every student who are studying in this college the famous companies such as AVP news ,Aaj Tak , the truth 24 and various news channel comes for placement and internships almost each student gets placed

Amazing

Likes

I liked the safe enviornment of the college
All the teachers are very supportive and helpful
The concepts are easily understood by the students

Dislikes

The variety of the food can be more but its not so
There are many activities which can be restricted
No fixed timing od dispersal sometimes you have to be extra time

Likes

The fees is affordable in comparison to Delhi University.
The scholarship scheme is definitely helpful for those who are economically weak.
The main campus has a central library so its quite helpful

Dislikes

The books in the central library are quite outdated
The lack of infrastructure in the affiliated colleges of AU
No merit based scholarship scheme available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

I like their distance education so that students can complete their graduation
Student can continue their studies without taking a lot of burden

We should always look on the positive side as the college is our second home. It provides us with all the amenities that a student requires immediately after completing their studies in school. All total, the college is good.

If you are really passionate you will get amazing opportunities to get experience.

I have applied in 5 college such as BHU AU DU BBAU and vishwa bharati Many for BA and BSc course through CUET UG, I got BHU and AU but at the end I have switched to BHU because of it is closer to my home and well known for me. I got seat in AU but same time BHU also, so I have to decide one. I put my seat for upgradation and then BVoc HTM. From 2022, there is only one entrance exam to take admission in all central state University in india. That is CUET common university entrance test conducted by NTA. Excellent Place for higher education

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level.
