- The things that I liked were the place varieties situated and the teaching faculty as well as the atmosphere in library
- The spacious rooms were the professor's stage and their relequip labs but it could be improved further
- The playground which is big but it needs to be managed as well as the people around here
Dislikes
- Generally the participation in the clubs are not quite great so it can be improved for dirt
- The location of the college is quite in the interior sides of the city so it is a big problem
- Availability of things which are required for necessary lifestyle is hardly available due to the position of the college in interiors
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum in which I have taken admission is electronics and communication and the faculty members are quite good and helpful . The student ratio is 1:4 girls and boys the number of boys has expected in an engineering college is more than the number of girls. The faculty members and the professors are well qualified and eligible for teaching and we do not have any problem regarding our course instructors. Generally we have 2 semester per year including 3Ca or 4Ca per semester.
Internships Opportunities
The company Which visit our college campus is quite good the ratio of placement is not But it could be well improved from year to year since it is a new college. Indianship facilities are quite good But it can be well improved genereally cognizing and other management company Do visit the college.
Placement Experience
For placement students can get prepared from 2nd year after 2nd year but there are certain internships for which you can also get preparation from 1st year itself but it is advisable to do that from 2nd year there are major companies which visit the college like cognizant etcetera the highest package is obviously offered to CTC and easy but some students who take interest in This take from cold branches also get placed under the companies but of campus placement is more suitable.
Fees and Financial Aid
This college as it is a government college the free structure is quite good and manageable with a yearly fees of 13000 for cse and ecestudent and the core brand student that is electrical mechanical and civil will have to pay a sum of ?9000. Scholarship facilities are available for minorities and SVMCM is also a part of it.
Campus Life
The college situated in North Bengal and it is covered with Flora and corner this is one of the social life is well curriculated with different club and its activity which goes all around the year we have a well equipped library with certain books which are required for academics whereas it could have been better amenities in classroom is quite good and there are various facilities for sports and extra curricular activities but it can be well advanced.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is quite good with spacious room and good paid as well as study table and cherish provided but there is a problem if there is unstable current connection and there is no Wi-Fi so that is a big problem with none a moreover the bathrooms are quite spacious but it could be improved.
Admission
The admission was based on WBJ doubly examination which is held every year by West Bengal government This is a government college. We had to book a seat in this college by paying the sum of ?5000. Reservation facility is not available as we get this college directly by our rank. For admission we had to physically go to the college and then we had to select our branch according to our given rank in the entrance examination.
Interview Experience
We generally got admitted in this college by giving the entrance exam which is provided by with Bengal government and the name of the exam is with Bengal joint entrance exam which is held every year and through which we get a rank and then we get admitted in different colleges according to the rank we get. The preparation is general like preparing for any all Indian entrance examination after Class 12.
