Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course duration is 2 years. The course curriculum and faculties are good. Faculties are very professional and helpful in making us understand in an easy way. They are also approachable in terms of doubts. Faculties are highly qualified with research paper publications to their names. Their detailed profiles are mentioned at www.rgu.ac.

Internships Opportunities

4

I did my internship at Mahindra Navistar. It's a commercial vehicle segment. My job as an intern was to fetch data's from the market using commercial vehicles in HMV and LMV segments. I had to interact with truck owners, and drivers and share their experiences, and also spread the word of mouth about Mahindra Navistar vehicles.

Placement Experience

4

I have experienced good campus placement. There are companies like ONGC, NRL, Reliance, Tata is a few MNCs to name that do come for campus placements. More company lists are mentioned in the placement tab on their website. To be Frank more than average students get placed which is a good number in real terms.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's fees are affordable especially in terms of the facilities and amenities provided by the university in students overall development. Different types of scholarships assistance are being provided to the deserving students like merit, endowment, monthly scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

I must say campus life is very good. The infrastructure is really good. It gives a corporate feeling. Classrooms are high-tech. There are four big events conducted annually and apart from that other events keep on happening at regular intervals. Consensio is the biggest event. A big library, and good sports facilities like squash, football, lawn tennis, badminton, baseball, cricket, basketball, etc. are all there.

Admission

The admission process was very smooth. Now admission process has become even smoother due to online form fillip. The cut-off was 50% and above. All the information is available on the website and details could also be fetched from outstation offices. The reservation is available for SC, ST, and OBC Category students.

Interview Experience

4.5

Yes. I faced an interview during the selection procedure. They have a team who helps in the process throughout the interview. I was guided by the counselor prior to the interview and was also briefed about the pattern of the interview which helped me to prepare myself. I experienced that by having confidence and being real one can crack the interview.

Admission:

Once I applied to TU with my MAT score I was asked to come to the university for the GD and PI round. My GD round went for 15 minutes and we were given the topic about GST. In my PI round questions were asked about all my background activities besides academics, my reasons for choosing this course etc. Various mock interviews online helped me a lot while preparing for this round.

Remarks:

The MBA admissions are merit based. The basic eligibility was graduation with 50% marks and a CAT score. TU also conducted an interview and a counselling session once I was shortlisted. TU is a central university under the government, so they offer quality education for very less fees. This was the major reason for joining TU.
