Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because the IT branch covers the software and hardware area which will enhance both skills at the same time. There are many subjects that are exclusively studied by IT students. Faculty students ratio is about 1:200. The minimum qualification is a master's or Ph.D. for faculty. Term exams are every 28-29 days. There is a total of 3 term exams specifically known as CAT1, CAT2, and FAT.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Google, Microsoft, Infosys, Tata Steel, TATA Consultancy Services, etc. are some of the companies that visit campus to provide internships to students. The minimum stipend paid is approximately 10k-20k per month.

Placement Experience

After 3rd-year 2nd sem students become eligible for placements. 700+ companies visited in the year 2022 for placements and 70%+ students got the offer. As of 2022, the Highest package is 1.01cr and the average package is around 8.18lakhs yearly. My plan is to work for 2 years and then apply for a Master.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hostel Fees ranges from 56k to 110k depending upon the block you are booking. Mess has three options, veg, non veg, special. Mess fees ranges from 59k to 75k. Tuition fees depends on category system. Cat 1 to 5 ranging from 200k to 500k per year. Scholarships is given to them who have poor financial background.

Campus Life

The annual fest is known as Riviera usually being conducted in February. Tech Fest is known as Gravitas being conducted in October. Books and journals are available online. Classrooms have projectors and cushioned benches to sit on. Many opportunities to grab if you are talented but competition is very high.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms- 1. AC/Non-AC (including mirror, night light, etc.). 2. 1 cupboard, and 1 table for each student. 3. Meal quality is far better than any other college. 4. Hostel Registration is online and offline. Hostels are affordable except few blocks.

Hostel Fee: INR 74000 per year

Admission

To take admission in VIT's any campus, we have to apply for VITEEE, entrance exam of VIT. Application form will be available in www.vit.ac.in, official website of VIT. As per year 2022, application fees was 1,250 Rs. There is no reservation facility provided by institute. The results are purely based on merit. No improvement needed in process.

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
