Remarks

The cutoff required to join KPR is 185 and above for a government seat. The application form is available on the college website for free. Including to this there is a talent search test to provide scholarships to students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose my course as it is one of the rare courses in India that provide a wide perspective of engineering to students. There is enough amount of teaching and non-teaching staff per department. Every teaching faculty have completed a Ph.D.

Internships Opportunities

KPR Provides the best internship in the city. There is an integrated 1-month internship in the curriculum. Including to that students are encouraged to participate in global events to win internships across India.

Placement Experience

I would say placements in KPR are one of the best in Tamil Nadu. The highest package is 20 lakhs offered by HP. The average package of the college is around 5 lakhs. Around 98 percent of students are getting placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee Structure of a "government quota" student is 80 thousand per month. However, the management quota has few amounts of donations that depend on that particular year. Students can attend a scholarship assessment on the date of admission to reduce their fee amount and avail of scholarships.

Campus Life

KPRIET is known for its infrastructure and Green campus. You find trees in all geographical directions. This provides students with proper mental health to perform and enhance their careers. There is a central library with plenty of books s and also facilities such as a playground, gyms, and club activities are filled in KPR to ensure students' happiness on campus.

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
