Likes

The campus: the campus is quite large with a lot of facilities.
Hostel life: the food and accommodation has all the necessities.
The poeple and crowd in VIT, there is a good healty competitive environment in VIT.

Dislikes

The fees: it is quite expensive for a private engineering college.
Restrictions: too many Restrictions are placed on the students especially the ones in hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview

Btech CSE is one of the most rapidly growing and one of the courses with the highest opportunities available in the world as of now. In VIT, the faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:70 on average. Although I wouldn't say that all the professors teach in a way everyone understands, with a little bit of effort it is possible. The exams CAT1 and CAT2 contribute to about 15% of the total percentage of that semester. The exam difficulty is mostly dependent on the faculty you have chosen.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees you pay depend on the rank you get and the course you choose. There are 5 categories to choose from with the lowest starting from 1.5 lakhs and the highest in normal quota being 5 lakhs. There is a separate fee for NRI students.

Campus Life

VIT conducts a variety of cultural events throughout the semester, but the most notable of them are the 2 cultural fests, technoVIT and Vibrance. The library in VIT has all the material you will need for completing the course. But it is quite difficult for hostel students as they are not allowed to go out of the campus.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels in VIT are good. The rooms are well maintained and have timely cleaning. The food there is great, pretty sure it is better than any college in this region. But there is a lot of demand for hostels with a lot of people not being able to get them. The hostel is not very expensive, and it is the same price as other colleges.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

I had to write the VITEEE exam which was relatively simple for an entrance exam. We had to apply for the exam on the VIT web page and were informed of the details of the test through the same. The results, rank, and course selection were also done on the same website. The max rank for CSE courses will be around 25000. And other courses from btech will be around 40000.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
