Course Curriculum Overview

VIT has a very great curriculum which includes a lot of projects as well. A total of 160 credits has to be completed for our particular batch of students and this keeps changing frequently. Overall, VIT has a good curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

VIT students get many placements and internships starting from their pre-final year. Once you get any internship, there are high chances of getting that converted into PPO. Many companies come to VIT for placements.

Placement Experience

Decent placements, with good packages. Around 600 companies visit VIT every year for placements. The average package would be around 7-8 lakhs per annum. The highest package in 2022 is above 1 crore per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Tuition fee doesn't keep increasing whereas the hostel fees for every year usually change and keep increasing 5-10k per year. The cost of the hostel fee depends on the type of room and hostel block that you choose.

Campus Life

VIT plans good fests and events all over the year. One of the biggest fests that happen in Indian universities is conducted by VIT called Rivera where many celebrities come and perform. There are even many clubs.

Hostel Facilities

There are many hostel blocks in VIT for both boys and girls. Hostel rooms are of different types including AC and non-AC. You can choose the type of room based on your interest. All the hostels have canteens as well.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

We need to apply for the Viteee exam and later you must take the exam. Once the results are published you need to take part in counseling and get admission for a required course. Once the fee payment is done, you will be done with the admission process.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
