Took Jee mains for admission in university college of engineering. It is second best state government college of Rajasthan
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is pretty good. The first 2 semesters stays the same with all streams of the engineering. The third semester allows you to take electives. The course is however not up to dated and lacks latest in-demand technologies. The courses do not help for in-depth technical knowledge.
Placement Experience
Decent placements have been witnessed by our senior batches. Most students got placed with an average package ranging from 1.5 LPA to 4 LPA. Around 60% students got placed in companies the last year. Companies have not given internships but yes some training courses were there by them.
College Events
The events include annual fest and fresher party. Other than that there are several events depending on the fund and politics in the university. They are organised on the university level and college level as well. It depends on the funds available. Sometimes they are worth taking a part in.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite straight forward and cheap compared to other universities. The Tuition fee changes every year depending on the increment it's around YEAR 1 ₹77,500 YEAR 2 ₹70,000 YEAR 3 ₹70,000 YEAR 4 ₹70,000 PROGRAM GRAND TOTAL₹287,500 Apart from it, there are exam fee ranges from 1000 Rupees to 2000 Rupees. The tuition fee waiver is given to students below minimum income level decided by the university.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are only available to Rajasthan domicile students and whise parents are not in government job.the scholarship is provided by state government and college itself
Campus Life
Gender ratio is 1:10.Located in the Education City Kota, The College has quite good atmosphere of localities and other students mostly from Rajasthan. Ranking 2nd in the list of Govt Colleges of Rajasthan this college gives you a typical Government Atmosphere with its Infra and Hostel facilities. Situated in vast area of non agricultural land has quite a good scenic beauty specially in the Monsoons as India's highest Cable bridge I.e., Hanging bridge is situated quite a few metres away.
Hostel Facilities
The university/college hostels are not as good and it is expected to a government-owned college. The rooms allotment are generally sharing for first-year students and single rooms are not easy to get into. There are several private hotels and PG's available nearby. Students opt to live in rented house for better facilities. It ranges from Hostel: 30,000 - 50,000 /year PG: 35,000 - 90,000/ year Rented House(Shared) 60,000 - 1,20,000 /year

Seniors are very helpul if you approach them.they provide books material and moreover they tell you about how to prepare for exams and all
Exam Structure
Exam structure is common as other colleges. They are hectic in the schedule. The thing to notice here is results takes time. Sometimes semester result may take more than 6 months to be declared. There is no good provision that who will grade your answer sheet.
Admission
RPET Exam and AIEEE Exam for entrance. Many colleges under this university accept direct admissions as well. Faculty
1.Experienced Ph.D. Faculty 2. Industry exposure was very good due to industry trip was organised by the department. 3. Various state level event like BENCHMARK,ANUKRITI ,LUMINERE etc 4.Very useful library due to book available from all the field(SOM,TOM,Material Science etc.) 5. Hostel experience was average 6. Very few company visited the college for placement
