Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty are very qualified enough to make us understand the curriculum and practicals. Instructors are qualified to make us understand how to work in workshops efficiently with all safety practices and give practical exams every semester

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are worth the facilities provided for the curriculum and non-curriculum. Placements are also very good as 90% of my batch is been placed in various companies and college helped us a lot to crack the interview with all the confidence

Campus Life

The campus is divided into various committees and cadets are involved as committee members who run the committee that helps us to improve our communication in various languages as cadets are from various parts of the country.

Admission

A minimum of 60% is required in the 12th and IMUCET should be given depending on the rank of IMUCET the colleges will be allotted. I have selected HIMT as it has the best facilities at affordable fees and I have never regretted my decision.

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

Dislikes

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

Life in HIMT

I applied this course in three other colleges which are Tolani, Manet , coimbatore marine college. I live in coimbatore so i applied in CMC but after visiting the campus i didn't like the infrastructure and the placements record was not good enough. Tolani is a very good college one of the best college in india but the fees for BSC for three years was too high to afford by me so i couldn't join. HIMT is known for their discipline, safety priority and placements record. The fees was also comparatively less than other colleges and it is near to me compared to other colleges. I was selected in tolani, cmc, Manet but i chose HIMT . The selection process consist of a CBT test and online interview. The difficulty level is easy/moderate. I didn't applied to any other colleges as I wasn't aware much about this field. I got to know about this college from my friend. I knew about other colleges like Tolani and T S Rahman.
