Course Curriculum Overview

4

Actually, I am very aware of social activities that's why I want to know more about mainly the pros and cons of society so that I can try to make it better. The student ratio was good at 60:100. Faculty was very good because it is distance learning still teachers and the method of their teaching is very good. The exams were not difficult at all. Exams were held thoroughly.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my stream course fees were 20000 per year. The fee structure is very affordable for all. Maybe it hiked in their fee structure now. As I mentioned it is a distant learning platform that's why there is no campus hiring but you can get a very good job with this. The scholarship was not much but there is so that you can make your study cost more efficiently.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Fest and tech fest were not held because it is a distant learning platforms. Books were available at their stores and the library has also many different books to read. Sports and extracurricular activities were not frequently held on the campus. There are so many social groups, and clubs for students.

Admission

You should have passed a minimum of 60% in your 12th board. The application form of IGNOU is very easy to find on their website or you can visit it physically also. At my time there is the amount of 500 for registration. As you know that IGNOU provides distance learning that's why it is not very hard to get admission and there is no entrance exam to get admission to college. I have no idea about reservation because I did not belong to the reservation category but definitely, the reserved category gets their benefits in college. The reserved category is not at all treated as reserved but definitely, they get all the right benefits of their rights. The process of admission was very easy at IGNOU. The admission process is easily available online and also you can get your admission from visit the campus of the college. The admission process is not as delicate at all as others. You just have to submit all the necessary documents needed in your admission process. The overall admission process is very good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
