Remarks

Our college management was simply perfect every student was considered important and was allowed to keep their queries and other issues easily. Management was unbaised and the principle used to take care of all the minor and major things students were eas

Entrance Preview

I got admission on the basis of cut-off list by Delhi University. I opted for B.A Hons english as I had a flair for writing and had a dream for becoming a writer.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

English Honors is considered as one of the most toughest course of Delhi University. It was only possible to clear B.A Hons english as our faculties were simply awesome. They used to guide us through all the concepts in depth and also gave us notes to tackle up to complicated concepts.

Internships Opportunities

There were sessions of campus placement where the most reputed companies came for recruitment. IBM was one of them and starting internship salary was approx 20k per month.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is a lot scope after hons. in English. One canbe a lecturer can go for teaching either. Students can also go for content Writing and editing. It also includes Media Jobs or Mass Comm related Jobs. News media and Digital Marketing companies offers jobs to students of English Hons .

College Events

4.5

There were many events that includes fests, cultural events, literary events, literary meditations and seminars on regular basis. There were also theatre activities abs assignments as per our course. Some of the events were at national level, state level and inter collegiate level. These events were open to all the students. In some events, there were auditions and selection process.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is affordable as it is a Delhi University College and being a government college, that was quite affordable. Fees was merely 5600 for the entire year, though exam fee was supposed to be submitted separately. The fees for other courses were also around 5k to 7k per year. At present I don't know about the fee structure. Apart from fee, the canteen food was much more affordable, the food offered was hygienic and healthy but was sold at its leadt price. In context of fees and other facilities, my college was easy to afford eventhough few people were getting relaxation as per scholarships and OBC and sports quota.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were different scholarships and facilities apart from this, being government college and University, there was OBC, SC, ST and also Sports Quota loans were not required as the fee was already minimal that was easy to afford.

Campus Life

3

Yes I actually enjoyed my college life as there was fine blend of co-curricular activities. There were street dramas on gender biasness there were inter college debates organised by Gender Sensitisation Commity of our department and college there were fresher's Parties, Farewell Parties and college Fests there were events like steet dramas, shows, skits and cultural dances regarding Social Issues like Sexual Orientation, increasing Rapes, racism and gender equity.

Hostel Facilities

4

The food was hygenic, quite affordable and our college did not had a hostel facility. Our canteen used to have various foods that too cooked with perfection and that were offered at really reasonable prices. Our college canteen used to offer all the mockt

Alumni/Alumna

The best part was that the raging was banned and there was an anti-raging campaign so our seniors never dominated over us rather supported us secondly, our seniors were really supportive and motivated us at times, helped us with notes and helped us to grab the concepts.

Exam Structure

There were back to back lectures but still that was a lot fun and can not be considered as over hectic

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.
