College management was much involved to make money by providing placements to students. Management must take initiatives to reduce fee and trained students practically.
Entrance Preview
I got admission in this college after qualifying the LEET (Lateral Entry Examination Test) in which I secured 215 rank in all over Haryana. I decided to opt M.M Engineering college because it was on Rank 3rd in Haryana and it was esteemed reputation to get in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is designed by Govt. committee and it is going as traditional however it needs to be improvise as Practical things needs to be maximize as according to corporate world which might be helpful to produce trained professional and it would definitely reduce the training cost of Companies.
Internships Opportunities
No , there was no provision to provide internship in 2006-2009. so there is no question of stipend and experience.
Placement Experience
In 2008-2009,recession just entered into market but even after that approx 75-80% of students in my class were placed in TCS,Infosys,Kean India, L&T infotech and Tech Mahindra. And average package offered by these IT companies was approx INR Three Lacks and Fifty Thousand only
College Events
Technical Society was formed named ISTE and annual function in the form of Universsam is being organized in the college since last 10-12 years.In this Universaam outer colleges are also invited to participate along with celebrity nights to entertain the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In 2006 the fee structure was little expensive than other Engineering colleges in Haryana. 65000/- INR or Sixty Five Thousand Rupees Per Year while In rest of Engineering colleges of Haryana the fee amount varies from 45000/- INR to 55000/- INR per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
We were not aware to such kind of scholarship or loan facility provided by our college in 2006-2009.
Hostel Facilities
There were separate hostels for boys and girls. There were two type of rooms in hostels. Two Person Sharing Rooms and Three Person Sharing Rooms. The food quality of food in Mess was not as according to paid amount for Mess.So many of students used to have food outside of mess even after advance payment to mess. However the Living cost in PG's outside the hostel was less expensive than hostel. In PG's , maximum rent with Two person sharing room was 1500-2000 per month.
Alumni/Alumna
No alumni network developed by college alumni committee as students are only in touch by their own and find updates of college or each other via social platforms.
Exam Structure
Every month there was provision to appear in sessional exams which took at-least a weak in month.The sessional exams takes place three times in each semester of 4-5 months. Practicals and assignments kept students very busy but students still used to enjoy all this.
Admission
As I took admission in this college after qualifying the entrance test.All the process became Online in 2006. Starting from notification,following to Online Fee Payment for Entrance test,Entrance Exam and then Result declaration of Entrance Exam. After allotment of seat into college,the ball went to admin branch of college for further admission details
Faculty
Each and every faculty member , I came into touch was well qualified for the subject which they were aligned to teach however many freshers also join in the college to teach but again there must be more focus on practicals instead of theory classes.
