Remarks

my college could be better if some more fund would be given, some better students and less chaos. The college management is average.

Entrance Preview

I scored 92% in my 10+2 CBSE board exam and I was getting Economic honors on that score, so opted for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

BA economics honors is an amazing course, it provides a lot of knowledge and has a pretty good level. it's difficult but worth the hard work. The curriculum is tough and some students don't even make it to 3rd year, they leave the course before graduating. Delhi University has a reputation of having a good economics course which can be compared to what is taught outside of India.

Internships Opportunities

No, my college does not provide the internship. We do have college societies which students can join and maybe be even earn through it.

Placement Experience

3.5

this year urban clap, some insurance company came and they offered 2.5 lacs package. they did not offer good work. I do not have the knowledge about how many were placed but the jobs that they were offering were mediocre also they offered the same job to all the students from any course

College Events

4

Fests season takes place every year. Each society has their own fest and at the end of the season, there is a main fest in which everyone takes part. the management regarding fests is average, last to last year there was an accident too. they are organized on a big scale.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very manageable, most of the Delhi University college has subsidized fee. fees in my college for my course hasn't been more than 6K it's feasible and there is also some additional expenses like examination fees. in conclusion, everyone can manage to pay the fees online.

Fees and Financial Aid

no scholarship or loan facility available. most of the Delhi University colleges don't have scholarship or loan facility and that is because the fees are already so low that scholarships or loan facility is not needed.

Campus Life

3.5

Don't have any knowledge about gender ratio. The campus life is average, it could be better. We don't have dorm parties, we do have freshers party. my college has done well in politics as far as I know. sports is also good, we have a debating society which has also done well as far as I know.

Hostel Facilities

4

My college doesn't have a hostel, although they have the building they are not operational. The canteen food is pretty good and cheap.anyone can eat in the canteen and be content. The standard is good with the canteen, the college hires different caterers for the canteen and the current caterers are good.

Alumni/Alumna

I have had some interaction with senior students and they are pretty helpful. I don't have knowledge about any alumni work.

Exam Structure

An exam is good, although the seats are a bit uncomfortable. The preparation for exams is quite good, they offer water in the middle of the exam if we are thirsty, regular checks in the classes and strict rules.I haven't had any problem in my exams till now.

Admission

The admission was offline and it took a lot of time, I needed many documents like class 12 mark sheet, character certificate, and class 10 mark sheet and all of them had to be arranged in a specific order, then verification took place and one window. After that, I had to go to a class for physical verification and then wait for the fee slip. The final step was paying the fees.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is average and doesn't have consistency, although some professors are really nice at the same time so don't know how to teach. 1st-year professors were good, 2nd-year professors were not so good, although the teacher for econometrics was amazing. classes used to get cancel every now and then.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.
