What Students Say

Likes

Faculty are so good they teach and guide us very well.
Campus is very good because of greenery and every sports.
All classrooms are fully ac and fully furnished.

Dislikes

According to me , university is very strict.
Hostelers can not go out after 9:30 pm..
Campus is too small , it is of 60 acres only.

Course Curriculum Overview

1. Because I have an interest in computer science and engineering. 2. Faculty-student ratio is 1:85. 3. Most faculty are Ph.D. but some are masters. 4. Term exams are held after every 6 months and you can pass them easily.

Class Size: 82Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies visited the campus for internships with stipends of around 25 - 30k like Dell, Adobe, Wipro, cognizant, Infosys, etc. In the university, faculty will not teach you for projects they will teach you only languages, and projects you have to make on your own.

Placement Experience

1. After 6th sem students are eligible for campus placements. 2. Many companies visited every year like Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Dell, Microsoft, etc. 3. Highest package is 40lpa and average package is 8lpa. 4. 85% are placed from the university. 5. After my degree my plan is to do a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Fees increase every year by 5% and the cost to study is 700000 without a hostel. 2. There is no Scholarship and financial assistance in the university and stipends for internships are around 25 - 30k. around 60% of students get an internship.

Campus Life

1. There is no annual fest but there is a fresher's party and tech fest conducted almost every month. 2. There are a lot of books available in the library, you can borrow them with your college id. 3. Classrooms are well furnished and fully ac. 4. There is every type of sport at university like volleyball, football, tennis, etc. 5. There are many clubs like the happiness club, music club, theater club, etc.

Admission

1. You must have 60% in class 12th in PCM and should have attempted Jee mains exam. 2. You can fill out the application form from the university's official website. 3. There are no Reservation benefits at this university. 4. No, the admission process is easy and smooth.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Life at Panjab University

Placement Experience:

In our college students need to have 6CGPA to still in campus placements and our college have a Club that overseas all the placement oppertunityies and the placement starts from 7th semester onwards when students starts there seventy semester the company's starts visiting campus for placement and internship opportunity as well

Placement Experience:

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Nmims Chandigarh for btech review

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
