Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affiliated with the MAKAUT University of West Bengal formerly known as WBUT and follows the curriculum as prescribed by the university. The exams are conducted twice in a year as an odd sem in dec and even sem in June. The faculty members are well-qualified and are also very helpful to the students in every field. The student ratio is approximately 60:40 boys to girls.
Internships Opportunities
There are summer internships provided for third-year and second-year students in the Durgapur Steel Plant, Pinnacle Infotech, and many other companies such as Wipro which selects students directly for the placement with respect to their performance in the internship and training.
Placement Experience
The placement in the college is very good with an average package of 6.5 lpa and also the highest package was 24lpa in the year 2022. The companies that visit the campus are Walmart, TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, and many other MNCs. The placement record is also very good with almost 95 percent of the students getting placed from every branch.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for the btec course with CSE stream is around 3.8 lakh and it is very less as compared to the other engineering colleges. The placement front of the college is also satisfactory with an average placement of about 6.5lpa. The highest placement for the year 2022 was 24 lpa which is also mentioned on the official website the college. The placement is almost up to 90 percent of students being placed int he company like Wipro Cognizant TCS, Amazon, and many other MNCs.
Campus Life
The annual fest is conducted in the month of May. This year it was conducted with the name Carpedium 2k23 and there are also other programs that are helpful throughout the year such s the sports meet as an athlete which is conducted for a period of three days with almost all popular sports included in it. Also, there is an indoor hostel sports meet for the students residing in the hostel.
Admission
The admission process is through the counseling done by the wbjee board. Students who have appeared in the wbjee exams and scored a rank of about 10k -12k would easily get admission to the college with any branch. The admission process is very lucid with all the steps of the counseling being conducted under the supervision of the college administration.
