Remarks

We learn to be disciplined and be that unique star shining in the dark sky. And we have this black and white formal dress which shows unity is strength we all are one.. if we work towards the goal we can achieve it. Negative the infrastructure the parking and the canteen should improve.. and get modernized. the best faculty supportive and encouraging. the campus is amazing you could sit anywhere and enjoy the beauty of nature. A year left. Will surely enjoy it too.

Entrance Preview

I had taken up the exam COMED-K. you can also get into this college through CET or management quota. As I got this rank I and to choose among a few colleges but as this was comfortable for me to travel and found college improving every year... There would be a normal meeting with the HR team as they will give all the info about the college , faculty etc. I always wanted to be a mechanical engineer and heard that this is an evergreen branch so as usual took advice from relatives neighbor and not to forget GOOGLE so then decided to go with mechanical as I had thought earlier.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical is known for its knowledge. And I feel I have chosen the best branch. practical learning is not that great here. all they want is marks in the end not the knowledge we gain.. yeah research are at its peak.. our research and development Dean has received the young scientist award. From the central government. and the students are also creative to think out of box so the research initiative are good. Electives are decided by the college department as we students don't have a choice.. but when we feel something else is good the department is good to understand the needs is student and they see the best way through

Internships Opportunities

No internship from college side. But the HR TEAM guides us and gives us the contact of the companies. The HR team prefer us to get into startups as it will give us wide range of practical knowledge... So by contacting the company we get the Internship.as I have not done any I have no dear about the stipend..

Placement Experience

The placement is at its best..lead by professor gurucharan Singh.. we had been awarded the best placement by the ministry of HRD.. on am average 60 -80 % students get placed.. Companies like Capgemini , NTT data, HP, westline ship management company,mphasis, IBM, happy locate, byju's etc visit our college. Capgemini has given day 01 slot to Citech this year 2017. The package starts from 2.5 lakhs to 8 lakhs so average would be around 4 lakhs.

College Events

We have an annual fest called CHIGURU it's an cultural msnegement fest conducted in the month of March every year.. and about the contributions students have no idea about it. The organising is amazing. We enjoy the way it's conducted. It's conducted for 2 days. So it's the best time every year..

CET fees starts from 80 thousand Management 1.5 lakhs COMED-K is as equal to that of management

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they provide scholarship. Obc 15 to 20 thousand. Sc St 20 to 40 thousand... No I haven't availed it.. no idea about the loan facility in college

Campus Life

Yes.. I found the inner talent of mine a writer in Cambridge... Because of those programs that are organised... They do all the requirements for this. Stage etc etc... They have these talent hunt programs to explore talents right from the first year...

Hostel Facilities

I didn't stay in hostel.. but my friends do.. 3 sharing rooms. Each have a bed , a cupboard, a study table , and all other basic facilities. 24 hours power equipped with generator faculty. The food is not very Interesting. U get bored of it. as the taste remains almost same.. 80 - 90 thousand per annual

Exam Structure

The exams are conducted every month. 4 months a semester. First 3 months v have internals. N then 4th month v have the VTU board exams. so we are nod bored at the end of the day u have to get used to it.

The faculties have a degree such as b tech M.tech and holders of PhD in mechanical dept alone. HOD IS VERY STUDENT FRIENDLY. The standard of teaching is amazing. As they focus on marks so the quality of teaching is good. But can be better if hey relate to daily examples

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
