Likes

I like the that we get unlimited Wi-Fi in hostels and so over the campus.
We have multiple gyms near the campus and in the campus.
The hostel facility and variations in the amount of options.

Dislikes

I dislike that Wi-Fi is closed after 12:30 at night.
Everything is a little more costly compared to other colleges.
Too much restrictions regarding hostel in time.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose ECE Babies because it was the next best option after CSE and IT. The student ratio with respect to teachers is roughly 1:65. All the faculty are Ph.D. and all the lab assistants are pursuing Ph.D. We have 2 cats and 1fat exam that mostly occur in one-month differences.

Internships Opportunities

A great number of companies visit our campus for both placements and internship opportunities. We also get a vacation for doing industrial internships. We are also given many opportunities for writing research papers.

Placement Experience

The average placements in our college are very good compared to other colleges. Almost all the students get placed by the end of their fourth year. The highest package this year was around 1 crore per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees depend from student to student according to their category. Since I am in category 5, my fee is almost 5 Lakshya. We get many emails regarding internships from small companies and for major companies, there is another procedure to get internships.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Riviera and it is very grand. Many stars are invited to perform. We also have a tech fest called Gravitas where various competitions are organized and there is also a cash prize. There are also many clubs related to almost all categories that organize regular events.

Hostel Facilities

There are options between Ac and non-AC rooms. My current room is Ac and 3-bed sharing. We can then type of room of different bed sharing's. We have to shift to new hostels after every two semesters.

Hostel Fee: INR 178000 per year

Admission

For the admission process, you have to take an exam called VITEEE. You can apply for this exam through their official website. There is a category system put in place where you get placed in a category between 1 and 5. The higher the category, the higher the fees.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
