Remarks

I love it. I have a great time going to college. I have some amazing friends who make college super fun. I learn alot. I study when i have to but i have a great time in college.

Entrance Preview

I selected ramaiah because its one of the best colleges in bangalore.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum is very good. Its very up to date. It allows you to explore the subject rather than just learn it. There is a lot of scope for students to do research and everyone is very supportive of what we want to do. We have electives which allows you to pick the subject of your choice and learn it. Its a good beginning to the industrial world.

Internships Opportunities

They provide really good internship opportunities to all students who are interested. But I am not really sure of the company names and stipend.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good. My college claims to have a 1005 placement record which is amazing and very helpful for all of us who want to pursue a career in the IT industry. I do not have a detailed figure about the packages and companies.

College Events

4.5

We have alot of technical events, Cultural events and festivals. They are alot of fun. They bring a huge crowd. The college is very supportive of extra curricular activities and sports. We have both indoor and outdoor sports. We have a huge performance stage and lot of auditoriums for various events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Donation is expensive. But the fee structure depends on the entrance exam that you cleared to get in.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not sure about the names, but we do have scholarships provied for various projects that we are interested in.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is 1:0.75 (boys:girls). The college crowd is very diverse. There are students from all around the country and world coming here to study. The atmosphere is very safe and friendly for everyone.it has a mixed group of people who get along well.

Hostel Facilities

I dont stay in the hostel so i dont know much about it.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

We have internals once every month and 2 lab internals are conducted in the span of 3 months. Its not very hectic but its not chilled out as well. Its optimally designed for us to balance of work and extra curricular activities.

Faculty

They are all well educated and student friendly. They are supportive of what you want to do and teach you all that they know. They help in exploring the subject and clear any doubts we have. The environment is very good. The teachers are kept up to date a

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.
