What Students Say

Likes

The thing I like the most is the architecture of the buildings.
The auditorium is also very huge where most of the activities will happen.
There are big gardens where students can set the garden and spending time with friends.

Dislikes

The thing I dislike the most was the attendance were teachers mainly focus on attendance such as students as to get 85 percentage of attendance.
The most irritating thing is that we have to walk around 2 kilometers from the bus stop in order to reach the college.
The network connectivity in this college is very weak.

I choose this course because I was very much interested in computer applications. There are a total of 70 students in each section. The faculty in this college are amazing. All the faculties have completed their MTech from many good colleges most of the teachers have done their Ph.D. as well There are a totally of 3 internals and one external for the sem.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available at this college. Companies like Cognizant Wipro TCS provide internships to students if they get placed in these companies. Stipends may vary for each student based on the company they got placed. Some companies like ethno tech provide internships to students without Stipend.

Placement Experience

The placements in this college are very good. The average package in this college is around 6.5 lakh. The highest package in this college is 23.2 lakh. Students who are studying in 7 SEM or 8 SIM are eligible to sit in the placements. Companies like cognizant Wipro TCS visits the college every year for placements. Around 80% of the students are getting placed in most of the many companies. My plan is to go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for CET Kota is around 90,000 and through comedk, the fee is around 2.5 lakh. The fee for the management quota is around 4,00,000. Scholarships are available for students who come under the obc and SC, St categories.

Campus Life

The books for each semester are available at the library and also the journals are available in the library. The classrooms and the college are huge with a capacity of 70 students. Teachers use the projector to explain the concept to the students. This college also mainly focuses on sports and extracurricular activities such as NCC NSS and so on.

Admission

The admission process for this college can be through management or CET for comedk. Students who didn't score good marks in CT can get admitted into this college through a management quota. Reservation benefits are available for the students who come under obc or SC and St through cet or comedk quota.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Likes

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Hostel food. Rooms facility. Library. Canteen.
Caretaking, cleanliness, education, laboratories

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Best location of college in the silicon valley of India

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

i initially applied for RNSIT ,BNMIT, SJBIT ,GAT and many but in first round i had got GAT for ECE then i thought of waiting for second round as there was time and then i got SJBIT .i thought about the campus and placements would be good and joined SJBIT. I didnt get rejected but i didnt got selected because it was through KCET rankings as my ranking was 32000 i could make it to SJBIT. once you get your KCET results,we can apply for the colleges and according to the cutoffs of each branch we get selected,for first round it was across 25000 for ECE and it deducted at second round....Read More
