The admission process or the category based admissions is what makes other colleges better than vit
We don’t get as many holidays as we should

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Btech because I wanted to become a computer science engineer and had an interest in coding 1 faculty teaches 70 students faculties to teach well and are very friendly and polite exams are easy to moderate and one of the tests is an open book

Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, jp Morgan, jo Stanley, Wipro, Delloit and many more local companies of Bangalore Mumbai Pune Chennai and Hyderabad visit the campus for internships they hire the students based on their CGPA and interview m

Placement Experience

Placements in computer science are very good with an average package of around 12-13 lakhs and the highest of 1.2 crore. Most of the students get placed with good packages. I plan to study data science from foreign universities

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 5 categories and price increases with each category based on your rank I am in the 5th category and I'm paying 5 lakhs per annum there is a scholarship of 25 percent if your rank is under 1000 and you get admission to the 1st category

Campus Life

Riviera is conducted in the month in February and many famous personalities like javel ali arman malik zakir khan rahul dua and yami gautam are invited. we also have gravutas which is a tech fest it happens in September classrooms and labs are well equipped

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are well equipped with air conditioners and are very clean the washrooms are also clean registration process is very simple when you take admission you have to select the hostel that you want. Rooms and roommates change every year based on GPA

Admission

Vellore Institute of Technology has a great infrastructure and it helps a lot of students excel it provides a platform for students who have the potential and couldn't get into IIT or Nits. I like the ambience

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
