Likes

The campus is green and well maintained and all sports faculities are available but they are paid
You will make friends from all over the country so a great place to make networks
If a student is serious about studies ,Vit is the place for them

Dislikes

The intake is very high so the campus is always crowded and there is lot of competition
There are more than 3500 students in cse alone so not a very good place for cs students
The college is very money oriented and the most strict campus in india

Course Curriculum Overview

All the faculties are Ph.D. holders and are quite helpful. They are approachable and well-read. Students can ask for help with research papers and projects. Some faculties are known for giving good marks and some don't give any marks but the grades depend on the class average so doesn't matter if the faculty is strict.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 390000 per year

Placement Experience

Vit though has a lot of intake it magically gives placement to all the students,though not desired package but will definately get you placed somewhere. VIT makes the process of off camps placement very tedious as they want a 100% placement

Fees and Financial Aid

There is next to no financial assistance as it is a private college. The fee structure is like an open donation system, you can select from category 1 to 5 for every course. So students pay different fees for the same courses. Internships are difficult to get as there are soo many students in one batch.

Campus Life

3.5

Infracture is decent, but not at par with the relatively newer colleges. The club culture is also very healthy and there are many opportunities for students in various clubs. The campus has a very protected environment.

Admission

For my batch, the exam was online, VITEEE. It was not very difficult and the cut-off depends on the fee category you decide. The higher fee category will have high cut offs and the lowest category will have the toughest cutoffs.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
