I gave the JEE Mains exam to get into this college. I had heard about it from my professors who praised it profusely, so I selected it at the first chance I got. No, There was not any interview involved. I am doing Computer Science course right now which I chose for my passion for coding and interest in this field.

The course is almost up to date with some scope of improvement with courses about hardware being taught and physics etc. which we do not need. We do get assignments on practical application on every topic so the evaluation is practical oriented. The college is having funding from the government for many research projects, I am also working on one of them. Elective options are Psychology, Sociology, Machine Learning, and Economics etc. I don't remember may right now.

Yes, we do have a lot of quizzes.However, there is not much in the first month but after that we have regular quizzes, assignments and all that which can be tiring.

The faculty is mostly PhD with some very rare ones with ME degree. They all are having a large teaching experience of at least 15 years. All of them, especially in the CSE department are very interactive and encourage questioning.
