Remarks

However college is good for IT courses. Only con is size of the campus. Faculty is nice.. the campus size is small enough ..a garden rounded by a 7 stored building.. but the facilities are fully provided. If you are opting for IT courses. .its good.. cause placement here for civil and mechanical is negligible.. and opposite for CS EC EIE courses.. lots of companies come for placements.. and the best part is they don't labor you so much like autonomous colleges.. It is VTU affiliated college.. so CBCS pattern will be followed up. Which is way better than autonomous system. At last I would like to say its a good college..and you can choose it as your college.

Entrance Preview

I wrote COMEDK entrance exam to get admission in this college. While counseling there was inspection of documents. To check your filled details in the application form matches with the eligibility criteria. and interview was carried out. There were two counselings. in which you have to choose seats available. And then after payment direct to college for admission . I chose CS as there is good scope of placement and it is a reputed 66th all India rank AICTE approved college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Practical learning is good .. teachers are well qualified and experience.. lots of programmes , competitions keep taking place time to time. Which is a good opportunity to prove yourself. If CS doesn't suits you u can also opt for EC, EIE etc . as per desire and interest.

Internships Opportunities

Till now we have not been provided with internship from college. You can seek for internship off campus.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement scenario is good.. about 90% of students get placed every year. Who fall in eligibility criteria. TCS INFOSYS OPTUM ROBERTBOSCH ACCENTURE etc. Major companies visit every year. And average package is about 4 lakhs pa

College Events

3.5

Manthan the cultural fest is organised every year.. it is good.. but not up to the mark as other colleges.. but its enjoyable..

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I joined the college. Fee structure was about 180000. Which has now become. 2 lakhs per annum for COMEDK.. However for CET it is just 60000 rupees

Fees and Financial Aid

As per my knowledge. There is no scholarship system here. how ever u can take an educational loan from your bank depending on your financial conditions. college does not involve in loan procedures.

Campus Life

2.5

There are dance clubs , singing clubs. And many more which keep organizing events time to time. where you can showcase your talents. And it is quite enjoyable also music room is provided. With instruments and dance room is also there table tennis room and carrot room is also present

Hostel Facilities

3

There are double and triple sharing rooms in hostel. provided with clean and combined bathrooms. hostel also has a gym And a mess. It is very near to college. the mess food here is like universal mess food Like you find in most Indian colleges. so.. If you are going to decide on food.. hostel is not your option. However you can go for PGs. Which cost around 6K-10k depending upon facilities or .. if you have friends. You can reside in flats..

Alumni/Alumna

College does not provide with student alumni interaction. its all that I know some of my seniors which are placed in different companies right now. always be free to talk to seniors and more and more people which increases your popularity and increases your interaction qualities.

Exam Structure

Exam is chill in this college. there are three internals and 1 external per semester. The classes are mostly half day. 8 to 1:30 .. and attendance is also chill... so no worries..

Faculty

4

80% of the faculties are well qualified and experienced..rest are ok types.. and yes they are interactive in teaching. They share past experiences and use interactive methods in teaching. overall standard is good.

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
