Remarks

This is the best college for all-round development of student. Good infrastructure, friendly facilities, good hostel facilities. The only drawback is that the college is situated near airport, little far away from Bangalore city and if your a day scholar it take more time for traveling. I'm new to the college but I didn't feel any difficulty in getting adjusted it's probably because of friendly facilities.

Entrance Preview

I joined this college through KCET. I got into this college because of my friend. There was no such interview process. I have taken civil engineering and this is the best college for civil engineering as our chancellor himself is a civil engineer and owns his own civil engineering company Divyashree. We can say that we are the dominating branch in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Civil engineering is the best course in our college. In this course interaction between students and teachers is very much necessary to understand easily and this interaction is really good due to this we learn more than half of the syllabus in the class itself. As this is a university they frame their own syllabus. What we learn theoretically we also learn it practically which make us more perfect about that particular topic. Yes, many research initiatives have been taken by the institute.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, there is an internship for last year B.Tech students. As I'm new to the college I don't know much about this.

Placement Experience

5

As per my knowledge the placement for last year 2016-2017 were very good. Almost all the students who met the eligibility criteria(there should be no backlog and should have more than 8 points) were placed. The average package was 3 lakh Nd companies like HP, INFOSYS, IBM, DELL,WIPRO...and many visited.

College Events

4.5

There are many fests in our college. Starting with the fresher's day followed by engineer's day, ethnic day, sports day. We even celebrate all festivals especially the Onam and Ganesha festival which is celebrated for 3 days full of lights, DJ night filled with joy. Facilities and seniors also motivate us to participate in each and every fest. In the month of February or March we have yearly fest REVAMP which is celebrated for 3 or 4 days. The organization will manage the things very well so that it should be a ever green memory for all the staffs and students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for the students who have joined the college through KCET this year us 96,000. Even though it's expensive I think it's worth it because of facilities provided.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, scholarships are provided to those who are eligible. No, I did not avail any loan so I don't know much about that

Campus Life

5

Extracurricular activities are always encouraged in our college. Our senior and facilities motivate to participate in every aspects of sports. Their opinion is that young talents must not be suppressed, and students should be good at both studies and extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

4

No, I'm a day scholar but I have heard that they have all the facilities like cot, mattress, study table, gymnasium, pest control, 24 hours medical facility, bakery, beauty parlor, barber shop, UPS, Mes facilities, laundry,... There are many PGs nearby but I have no much idea about that.

Exam Structure

We enjoy the process of learning in lab is because what we learn theoretically we are learning practically. If you are day scholar internals aren't much stressful. If you are an hostile it's much easier to study as library is open til 12 at night and even few facilities stay in the hostel are also available to clarify your doubts at any point of time.

Faculty

5

Highly qualified facilities are only selected as per my knowledge most of them are professors. They are very friendly and interactive. Quality of teaching is too good, we end up learning more than half of the syllabus in class itself.

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
