Overall experience is very good. there is no disturbance of traffic outside people. College environment is very peaceful and calm.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course choose by me is technology based. Practical learning also provided by the institute for every topic we needed. Research initiatives also taken by the institute and provide separate lab facility for the research students.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college didn't provide any internship while i'm studying. I don't no about present.

Placement Experience

While i'm studying placement is not very good. But now a days is was improved according to my juniors. Major companies means we have attended in pool infosys, monsanto etc.

College Events

College fest and many functions are celebrated by the college like the ethnic day, fest, science day with many technology ppt, poster competition etc. All contribution by the institute itself. Extracurricular activities also good in our college. Celebrations of festivals and college fest are also good and enjoyed a lot.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is not very expensive in our college. For poor and intelligent students our college made a CAT exam. If students passed in this exam institute provide a free education for that student. For other students normal government fee + college fee of rs 20k

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship and loan facility also available. College help in loan facility. I didn't avail of any scholarship and loan because i'm stable economically.

Campus Life

Yeah, college motivates the students who have inner talents and send them to participate. College is very nice with good lecturers. Teaching is also very nice in this college. Very friendly lecturers with awesome lecturing.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel is in sharing basis. i'm staying in home so i don't know much about hostel.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah they provide student alumni interaction every year.

Exam Structure

The exam procedure are in monthly basis. We can't tel that we tired of learning, we are students, we are here to learning we can't say we tired of all this. We enjoy learning.

Faculty

4.5

The lecturers in our college are all post graduates and well experienced. Lecturers are very interactive and provide weekly tests and assignments regularly. They have very good standard of teaching to reach students need.

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

Insight of my college

I was scored 81% on the 12th examination and my CET ranking is 33,548. I was applied to Channabasaveshwara Institute Of Technology College and I selected this college in the first round of selection of colleges in kea portal .and I got admission through CET quota in this college and the Admission criteria for Computer Science Engineering through CET in my college is CET rank should be less than 70,000 and above 50% in 12th Examination and age of the student should be greater than 18. I had a very smooth admission process first they mentioned dates for admission before that dates i went for admission and later they asked for all the documents like original marks cards, Adhar, with KEA admission order and they will verify documents by filling forms and also they asked me to sign forms and they sent those forms to university for approval and to the generation of University CEAT Number.
