- the mismanagement of the head of the department
- mismanagement during online classes in the lockdown.
- Some of the senior faculty members were very rigid and staunch with their teaching methods.
Course Curriculum Overview
The main reason for choosing this course was because of the renowned faculty member and the practical approach to teaching. The faculty: student ratio was decent enough, but there should have been more younger faculty members on the senior board of members. Exams were on-time, and semester exams were held 4 times in the span of 2 years. Some terminal and class tests were held on a regular basis.
Fees and Financial Aid
During 2019, the fee structure of the whole course was around 20000. Semester fees were included in the said amount and the last year there were lab fees which were nominal. Few students can get some government benefit schemes under specified guidelines.
Campus Life
There was no such fest held but one university fest and the yearly Basanta festival(holi festival) is very popular in Kolkata. Books and journals were available. Amenities such as projectors and computer labs are available.
Admission
Anyone wishing to join the university has to first file an application from the official website of RBU and then a written multiple choice question exam is held offline. After which, a list will be shared by the university on their official website, according to which one can see the shortlisted candidates list. Usually, there are at least 5 merit lists which are shared by the university. Accordingly, one can get admitted on the allotted admission date available on the website. The physical admission process had its hassles which could have been more organized by the staff members.
