Dislikes
- Infrastructure- Many building are pretty old and need renovations, similarly sports facilities are needed to be revive.
- Location-college is 10km away from main city, nearest airport is in Hyderabad which is 150km away but railway connectivity is pretty good. Northern people some time did not find good northern lifestyle and food.
Course Curriculum Overview
With the increasing wide demand for metallurgists in the world, I find my course which is Metallurgy and Materials Engineering very interesting. NIT Warangal has highly qualified, best Faculty Members and a new teaching curriculum that separates this college from others. Within a Year we have 2 Semesters, and the Easch semester consists of 2 minor exams, 1 mid-term exam, and 1 End semester exam. Scoring and getting better grades is simple but tricky as the competition among students is high.
Internships Opportunities
Internships in NITW are compulsory to do at the end of the 4th semester. Students also do other internships of their wish in their upcoming semesters and some also do part-time jobs and get well experience before placements. Projects are very common and also compulsory.
Placement Experience
Our Institute is known for Best Campus Placements. For the academic year 22-23 4th year graduate grab a CTC of 88L annually in India. And colleges have an Average CTC of 17.29L annually. In 22-23,275, companies have visited. Some known companies like Google, Microsoft, DE Shaw, UBER, Unacademy, SalesForce, Sprinkler, Honeywell, Bosch, Adobe, and many more. More than 1400 students got placed this academic year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike is minimalistic as we compared it to inflation. The college provides many scholarships and also the opportunity to get one. Class toppers are also awarded with stipend. Ph.D. Scholars are also given the opportunity to do part-time jobs.
Campus Life
SPRINGSPREE is South India's Biggest college fest which is held around March-April month. other than this. TECHNOZION is the Tech fest of NITW which brings the limelight. The magnitude of these fests is so huge and has an unreliable experience. The library at NITW has Thousand of books other and this DIGITAL LIBRARY has almost all the books for reading. Classrooms here are well furnished and have well-maintained cleanliness and other facilities. NITW Physical Education Department conducts almost all the major sports like cricket, football, and athletics. Other than this we have Basketball, Tennis, Swimming, table tennis, and Kabbadi teams. We have full-size Cricket, Football Stadium and multiple Indoor badminton facility, multiple basketball, a tennis court, and a Kabbadi ground also. Indoor games like chess carom, and table tennis facilities are also available. NITW have almost more than 40 clubs. Major clubs are Dance-UNIQ, DND; Dramatics-Aarohan, LDC; Music Club; Entrepreneurship-IG and many more.
Admission
One must need you clear JEE Mains Entrance Exam for being eligible for the BTech course. Need to be under cutoff rank about 30K open Male category for admission in the institute. Reservation is given accordingly to specific rules.
