Course Curriculum Overview
Being a UPSC aspirant and having an interest in political science and history I choose BA and BHU and DU are the most famous universities for this course that's why BHU. The faculty of BHU is very good, each and everyone as in subject has their own department and faculties. The exam is also going on a regular basis without delay in them. Exams are also not that hard also in college you can't expect the professor to treat you as some child to give really easy questions, like, honestly this the where your knowledge is what matters.
Fees and Financial Aid
No fee hike policy like in some colleges that is being discussed recently the fee structure is pretty decent for BA at least I can't guarantee it. You have a very low expenditure on fees throughout your study period. Scholarship comes every now and then differing from each other. Student gets a working period there are job offers for students with financial difficulty in which you can work for the university itself in their office for like 2 hours a day and get a decent payment for that.
Campus Life
The biggest fest is the Kashi yatra organised by IIT students. That's the biggest fest in BHU second place would be Elixir by IMS students. Sports are organised and there are many grounds spread throughout the campus where you can go and play and also join the tournament that is being played there. The social group are many for everything there's a group be it singing, dancing, art, debate, etc.
Admission
As usual general category's cut-off was pretty high also the boys and girls ratio differs a lot. Girls have more seats compared to boys. The admission process was pretty normal just time taking. For a single signature, you have to wait for like 2 hours or something sometimes more. But there are people to help also most ABVP are really helpful during the process. You can just ask for a senior's help there. The application and everything related to admission can be found on the BHU website. Reservation has its own criteria I don't have must knowledge on this being a general could be a reason. Also during Corona, they have this process of admission online if they can continue it that would be great.
