Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I want to be an engineer, the students are so friendly and more. For qualifications have a good rank in jee main and then counseling for this college. The teachers are soo good and friendly. The term exam is every 6 months and it is tough.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Google, tata, jio have visited many times, and lots of projects are made by students and happy with their placement. I have also participated in 3 projects based on electronics engineering.

Placement Experience

From the 4th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Tata, and Google have visited colleges some students grab offers from them. The highest package is 10 lakh and the average is 4 lakh. 60,70% of students get placement. my play to get placement in a better company after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is high for 1st 2 years you have to pay 95000 each year, engineering studies are soo costly books are very expensive. Many Student scholarships are available for students, students get very good campus.

Campus Life

4.5

We Celebrate annual functions, fresher days and many more. Lots of books are available in the library, we play cricket, football, badminton, and basketball in college and we enjoyed it. We have a friends group, a class group on WhatsApp.

Admission

For eligible you have to crack jee main 70%ile and above and have a good rank. Application date after jee main results and after counselling. For sc, st and handicapped reservations are available. Admission process delay.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Buckle up Journey in Vssut

I have applied to only Outr(formerly Cet Bhubaneswar). I have applied on the technical branches, but got none of them as my rank was around 152000. As Cet is not very good for its core branches, so I preferred Vssut over it. To get technical branches in cet bhubaneswar your rank should be under 50000 in Jee mains. The admission process is through the OJEE COUNSELLING. It is the counselling only for the students of odisha and anyone out of Odisha appearing the OJEE examination. The eligibility of our college is 45 percent. The admission process is quite hassle free. As once you got the seat in ojee counselling....Read More

I applied for outr Bhubaneswar and vssut burla. I was getting electrical branches in both the colleges. But in outr there are not enough hostels for student neither the campus is that much attracting. O the other hand vssut have total 11 hostel and can accommodate every student studying and the campus is also somewhat good. But for csit branches there are not enough facilities in vssut To get admission here you have to get a rank in jee main exam and have to go through ojee counselling. To get to cse branch your all India rank must be within 1lakhs and for electrical branch its about 1.5lakhs and for lower branches production rank does not matter that must there are seats pending vacant you can get them via spot counselling...Read More
