Remarks

The college is good.apart from the fact that college does not provide students with financial help. And also the only dis-benefit is that the college is outskirts of Bangalore.

Entrance Preview

COMEDK, Through counselling. There was interview taken, however you have to go through physical verification of documents in COMEDK cell. In Bangalore. I am pursuing BE in cse. Since i have interest in programming.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Its under VTU, so course is a bit hectic. College emphasis on practical learning, but it does not provide any funds for research in the institute. College is a partner with IEEE. AND Rextroth bosch. So, it does gives us a platform for research and learning. Elective options are offcampus courses offered by many IT gaints. Or online courses. In or near Bangalore.

Internships Opportunities

No. College does not provide any interships. You need to take it on your own. However the professor does gives students recommendation to the companies for internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement scenario here is average. Around 60% students got palced last year. Companies such as TCS, kodak Mahendra, amazon, bharat electronic s, L&T, triveni turbines etc. Visited the college.

College Events

4

Sambharam. Is the college events organised by the college at every even semester. The event is average. Organisation was good. And college authorities did participate in it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Through comedk. Its a bit costly. Toatal fees including hostel is around 2,11,000. Per year. But for cet students. Its way cheaper. Its around 60,000. While. For management it depends on the course and how late you take admission in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, in my notice it does not provide any scholarship/loan.

Campus Life

5

Yes, it does gives us an opportunity for extracurricular activities. Such as NSS, NCC and other outdoor activities.

Hostel Facilities

2

Yes, i am a hostelite. There are single, double and triple/common rooms in the hostel. Single costs around 80,000. Whereas double costs 70,000 and common room costs 65,000 per year for nortg mess. Whereas for south mess. It is 75000, 65000, 60000. Respectively. For single, double, common rooms. Food here is bad. And not edible.

Alumni/Alumna

No. I do not have any idea about alumni network.

Exam Structure

As. The college is affiliated to VTU. We have a lot of exams and labs. In 5 months we have approx 40-50 exams appart from lab internals and mechanical workshop's. So, yes it does makes us tired at the end of the day.

Faculty

4

Every teacher in this Institute has a minimum degree of mtech/me. Most of the teacher also hold s phd. Teachers are interactive and gives their optimal effort. Standard of teaching is good.

S-VYASA Deemed-to-be University School of Advanced Studies Collaborating with NIAT, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.
