Likes
- The vast college itself the greenery , the infrastructure planning and maping , the gym area , the swimming pool centre, the centeal library , the vishwanath temple which is at centre and centre of attraction for students , the madhuvan park.
- The professors and their supporting nature , the staff members , the health care workers and docters.
- The health system where we get free health care from college , the clubs activities and workshops.
Dislikes
- Some professors are irregular and rude too and some are very very slow in completing their syllabus at time.
- Sometimes the exam period is too long which is like 1 or 1.5 months so a lot tym wastes there.
- Some staffs are very very rude , rhey just do chit chat their insted of helping students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I was into psychology. And I did get psychology as my Hons subject. The faculty of social science is above average as it has lots of exposure with great professors and great teachers and also the staff members are good. The professors are regular and supportive. Every professor had their own way of teaching which is simply great. And the exams here conduct regularly and timely.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for ba social science is around 2500 per year, which in my view is too less as per the given facilities which are so much. Also if any student is getting some difficulties there also exist job assistance from which student can get their relief.
Campus Life
Campus life at Banaras Hindu University is too much great with lots of fun, exposure, experiences, and learning skills. Here also bhu organizes college fest and events like Model United Nations and youth parliament. Also, fests like summer carnivals or summer festivals are held. Also, there exists clubs like drama club, sports club, cultural club, communication club etc and many more.
Admission
To get admission to Banaras Hindu University, I had given BHU UET which undergraduate entrance test, and there I get the required marks to clear the cutoff to get a seat in this University. At my time the application form came in January and the exam was conducted around May June and the fee for the application form was around 650 but now it is increased and also a little bit process has changed. As of now the exams are conducted by NTA through CUET and there the student had to clear the bhu cutoff to get admission to this college.
