My college review

Well it’s mainly the college is for students of hard working and extra talented people by which they can excel in the carrier. This college has given me and helped me in each and every manner, now being in final year we are getting ready to get into this competitive world.

Entrance exam – CET with a ranking of 74890, I had put this college during the option entry and I waited till the second round then finally I got this college. No there was no interview process and all, Mechanical is used in almost everywhere in day to day life and I liked mechanical machines and the mechanisms involved in it.

The course was very good, we had to spend most of our time in lathe machines, drilling, milling machine, shaping machine we have a well equipped labs with all the facilities. Some of our faculties are doing some research for their P.hD purpose.

We have internships sometimes conducted by the college, some companies provide stipend some others don’t provide any stipend they only give the experience certificate that’s it. I did not receive any stipend amount.

The placement is an average in my college especially for the mechanical branch we don’t have much placements very rare the core companies visit the college. Around 20-40% of the students get placed in our college. Package is around 2-4 lpa.

There are much of the cultural events happening in college rather than the technical events, monthly once one or the other department has some competitions ready for the students for the over all development. Yes college supports the students in such activities.

The fees was affordable I paid 47910 INR per year and my family was from a middle class background so it was not a big deal. They also take 16000 INR as the extra college fees.

Yes the college provides the scholarship.

Yes they provide enough opportunities for the students.

The hostel is average I don’t stay in hostel but my friends stay in hostel it is neat and clean but food is the only problem, the facilities and all are good.

Yes there is an active alumni network in the college where the juniors will get to know about the experience of the passed out students. Sometimes the seniors who come to address us also guide us.

No exams were chilled culture, two subjects per day and we can study both the subjects since we have limited portion for the internals, for the final exams we have one subject per day for three hours continuous, and yes we also have sufficient holidays between two subjects during the finals.

Faculties are the best part of our college. All the faculties are cool they have enough knowledge also, They are interactive with the students, The standard of teaching is also very good, Most of them teach the practical applications during the labs.
