Likes

This year ISE banged more placement than any other branches.
Enterprise support by BICEP and other clubs,teachers are high.
Campus is flourished greenery and good conditioned campus.

Dislikes

Campus is very small, compare to strength of students.
No good cafeteria is available in campus which they keep on changing.
Highly restrictions disciplines for students, specially for hostels students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have a special interest in the field of IT as my family has good roots in it. The ratio of students and teachers is considerable numbers like about 17:1, lectures are with qualification and it's all about their simplicity in this collage. Their teaching methods are different from normal methods and exam seems to be easy if you study a day before the exam.

Internships Opportunities

There are many visited companies that provide you with internships, which mostly happen during placement planning only. Roles offered like associate website developer, project manager, coordinator, testing etc from companies like Infosys, and Amazon. You can expect a stipend from 15k-45k depending on selection.

Placement Experience

This year ISE has earned its name in placement by an average of 12LPA in our course which is high compared to any other college. Companies visited like phone pay,tcs, Infosys, Mera, etc and 768 offered made so far. And highest package is 46LPA from Amazon, 98% of students got placed this year. I am planning to pursue my fintech field after completion of my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

I would like to say there is no hike it is fixed during the admission only and most exam fee is collected yearly. 3.5 lakhs is enough for your four years term as the cost of study. Scholarships are provided but only too few and if you are not able to afford the fee by checking your eligibility. No campus jobs or stipend is available.

Campus Life

The annual fest utsaha-vaibhava is celebrated on our campus, in the month of June usually. There are tech fests with their own branches. The library has highly tech infrastructure, with a large store of books and a peaceful environment to study. Sports and extracurricular activities run parallel with academics. We have mun club, access denied, eco-club, and others like the student's council which are run by students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel has three buildings namely A, B, and C Blocks for only boys. Girls, they must see for themselves. Food is super hygienic and average taste as meet with money paid. The registration process is simple on campus, highly costly, and not affordable. Locally some PGs are available like study home, and Rcube.

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Admission

Puc qualified in maths branch is enough to admission for this collage. This college takes most intake by kcet entrance examination. If you have a good cutoff rank then you have to pay the fee prescribed by kea. Application forms, dates, and other information are hosted on kea's official website. Reservation like HKE, SC, ST, and other minority based if you are eligible. I would like to see if they are considering their own entrance exam for all students like Bits-Pilani.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food

Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Good Learning

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

A COLLEGE WITH PROMISED OPPORTUNITIES

I CHOSE BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT BECASUE THIS WAS AMONGST THE THREE OTHER COLLEGES I WANTED TO JOIN. ACCORDING TO MY RANKING KEA GAVE ME BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT.
