Course Curriculum Overview

I love to study chemistry so I choose this course. Faculty: student -1:5 Most of the faculties were doing their PhD from iits, nits and recognised central universities. The teaching methods of some faculties are excellent and others are not so good. We have 6 semesters in 3 years. It's not very hard pass. if you study on a daily basis and focus on your study then it will be easy to secure good marks

Class Size: 43Course Fees: INR 2400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Around 2400 is required for admission in bsc .it's 3-year course each year you have to pay around 600 for readmission .per semester you have to pay 250 for the form fillup of the semester examination. if you are staying in a University hostel then per year you have to pay around 7000 to 8000 rs excluding the mess bill for flooding. Our state govt provide scholarship for scholar students and sc, st candidates. Since bsc chemistry is not a professional course it has no campus jobs.

Campus Life

There are many programmes and fests are celebrated in our university. athletic meet and food fest are held in December. excluding these we are celebrating every festival in a grand way and hostels annual functions, jamming etc We have Kanika Library which is the biggest library in Odisha. classrooms are also very good. There are all facilities for Sports and extracurricular activities. We have a big playground for outdoor sports and also an indoor stadium for indoor sports. For the extracurricular activities, we have separate clubs like dance club, music club, literary club, art club, acting club etc.

To get admission in bsc in Ravenshaw University students should pass in 12th board examination. To know the information regarding the application form, dates and fees visit SAMS Reservation benefits only for sc, st, ESM, PWD

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate 5 out of 5 to this course curriculum in terms of relevance and Comolrehesiveness. As most of the student know there are 2 semester in a year and also 2 mid semesters. I think the difficulty level depend on student.

Ravenshaw is the best

Placement Experience:

I don't know more about how placement season in ravenshaw. But mu friend study in BBA department ,he said in our college 80% of students get placement. They get avarage 16 lakh per annum salary. Our university alumni are very strong and they Collab with various big companies.

RIE: NOT A COLLEGE BUT AN EMOTION

Placement Experience:

RIE is basically a Teachers training institute. Students are eligible to sit in placement from 8 semesters of b.sc b.Ed. a variety of schools from different parts of India come to visit RIE in the season of placement. There is a provision of 100% placement. Students are placed in variety of schools in the region starting from West Bengal Chhattisgarh even in Pune. Though the package is not that attractive cause here the package maximum goes up to 4.2 lakhs per annum. That's why many students choose to go for higher education rather than for placement. But 100% placement is there. The average package is about 3.6 lakhs per annum, which is not that good. A huge part of students go for higher education rather than placement.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements from the 5-6th semester. average packages availed by students range from 225000 to 300000 per year. around 10% of students get placed. I personally plan to pursue a postgraduate degree and then a doctoral degree.

Ravenshaw; a scenario to experience.

I hadn't applied for any other college because my university is the best institute for higher studies in Odisha and I wasn't supposed to go anywhere out of the state. Ravenshaw is the best

I am student of adisha bord in 12th. Basically i choose to do bsc chemistry honours . I give 5 colleges for selection . First i was selected for bjb autonomous college but I waited for further selection . I get ravenshaw in 3rd selection so that I came to ravenshaw. This is also my first name of college list.
